Take a tour of Kevin Chen's Vancouver apartment
Last time I invited Erika Appelstrom from Finland to show us her home and described it with her words.
This time we go take a tour of Kevin Chen's home, an interior photographer and blogger that living in Vancouver and has a connect with minimalist Scandinavian design.
Thank you so much, Kevin, for accepting it.
"My apartment in Vancouver is relatively new, only a couple years old. I love the location because it’s caught in between the city and nature, I have the city centre mall on one side and a forest on the other."
"I get the best of both worlds. I have always been interested in the relationship between our surroundings and how it makes us feel. Personally, I feel most connected with the minimalist Scandinavian design because of its elegance and simplicity - which is why my apartment reflects that. I love neutral colours, it provides me with a sense of calmness which I think every home should have."
"I try to keep my furniture to the minimal with neutral tones and clean lines. For decorative accessories I pick from the brands that speak to me the most, at the moment I am loving the Edge series from Skagerak and lamps from Menu."
"Lastly, I fill my apartment with an abundance of plants because they add character and completes the look of our space."
