MENU is a Scandinavian design brand with a simple purpose, make the world more beautiful, less complicated, and a li le bit nicer to wake up to. And they do this so well, you can see it in all their new collection. Even better!  Clean and contemporary with a minimalist aesthetic. See below all my favourites. Virtually the whole collection.

Pepe Marble Mirror Wall

The classic standing mirror gets a functionalist update with this new wall attachment. The focus on materials and quality makes the Pepe Marble Mirror timeless. The Pepe Marble Mirror, designed by Milan-based firm Studiopepe, is an elegant study of functionality overlapping with aesthetic. The Pepe was previously only available as a standing mirror and is now available in a wall-mounted option.

This makes it perfect for small spaces and spaces where you don’t want items to be moveable, such as restaurant bathrooms or hotel rooms. One side of the mirror offers regular reflection, while the other shows a magnification of 300%; a perfect mirror for self-grooming.

Avalaible in: black, white and brown

Carrie LED Lamp

In Denmark, where winters are long and cold, creating a warm atmosphere is a way of life, which our national fondness for candles clearly demonstrates. Hygge is a part of our culture, a word that embodies cosiness and comfortable conviviality, offering a feeling of contentment. It is both the eagerness to create a lightweight, portable lamp as well as a desire to honour hygge that gave birth to the Carrie LED Lamp, which can be easily used as a bedside lamp, in the office (it comes with a convenient USB charger too) or as an alternative to candles on the dining table.

Wine Breather

With minimalist silhouettes and high functionality, the Bottle Series is all about finding beauty in simple things. Water and wine: these two drinks can bring much joy, and even more so when enjoyed with sleek glassware. These useful pieces made from mouth-blown glass are now available in smoked glass. The clear series is timeless, while the new colourway brings a more contemporary look while maintaining the streamlined forms.

Open a bottle of wine, place Wine Breather over the bottleneck and flip it all upside down - the wine will run through the decanting unit and into the big surfaced carafe for perfect aeration. Flip it all around once more to get the wine back in the original bottle, pour it and taste the advantages of a wine with 10 times the oxygen. The new line extension comes in Smoked/Brass

Échasse Vases

The first piece in the now-iconic series was inspired by laboratory test tubes. The drop-shaped form is as elegant when holding flowers on a desk, living room floor, or nightstand as it is when left unfilled. The smoked glass version with brushed brass legs is available in three sizes.

The unique colour gradients of the glass give the design depth and contrast against the legs’ clean lines. The smallest vase is now available with clear glass and bronzed brass legs; a classic pairing to complement any interior palette, in a size ideal for more compact spaces.

Androgyne Side Table

Distinguished by its playful yet elegant silhouette, the Androgyne Side Table was first designed for the Menu Space cafe but quickly went into production for a larger audience.

POV Oval

Bringing the eye directly to the center of this light source, the original circular POV Candleholder was both decorative and functional. With a range of shapes and materials, the candleholder offers the perfect wall-mounted spark of light for any space. The updated oval shape of the POV candleholder replicates not only the focus, but now the shape, of an eye. The various placements of the single-band votive are visually stimulating. While one candleholder produces a minimalist silhouette, a number of them together produce an artistic mosaic.

Afteroom Stool

The Afteroom Stool is rendered in black powder coated steel and comes with or without an upholstered seat. The stool is available in three heights—stool, counter stool, and bar stool—making it easy to slide up against a bar or keep in the home as small-space or additional seating. In keeping with the original Afteroom chair series, this extension of the hugely popular line is bound to be embraced by those looking to enhance the seating in their commercial or residential spaces.

Wire Base

The combination of the Wire Pot and Base creates a beautiful resting place for your plants, while also offering stands of varying heights to bring visual interest and decoration to both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Designed by the team at Norm Architects, the Wire Pot and Base were inspired by a Japanese-style garden. The pieces can be bought separately but are best used together. The geometric lines of the Base and the gentle curve of the Pot work in harmony to lend a strong aesthetic to any house or garden greenery.
